I was fired by my very first interior design client.
In 2021 I was fired by my very first (paying) interior design client. They told me that the problem wasn’t a lack of talent. In fact, They loved the designs I created. The problem was my lack of process. They said they never knew what was coming next and it felt chaotic.
I was devastated. I desperately wanted to make them happy and I had let them down. Interior design has always been my passion and helping others create a home they love was my dream. What I didn’t realize then was that the beautiful outcome was only part of my job as a designer.
I took their feedback as an opportunity and I made the “Client Experience” my top priority. I enrolled in the renowned, Business of Design Program, where I learned systems, procedures and strategies to run successful design projects from start to finish. I earned my Professional Certification in 2023.
Now, I’m living my dream. My clients feel truly, cared for from start to finish. They love my streamlined design process, clear communication, and of course, the fabulous results!
